Who are we?
Genevieve Dent Remedial Therapy provides Remedial Massage Therapy for a range of muscular skeletal problems. Established in 2017 we are offering a range of services to treat physical pain and dysfunction. We use remedial & myotherapy techniques for preventative, corrective and rehabilitative treatment of injuries, dysfunction and postural issues. Many clients also see us to maintain their overall physical health and stress levels. Remedial massage & myotherapy are comprised of manual massage techniques, cupping, dry needling and various other manual techniques
What is Remedial Therapy?
Our treatment is a targeted and focused form of massage and involves the assessment, analysis, and treatment of muscles, connective tissues (fascia), ligaments, and tendons which are prone to injury and muscular dysfunctions as a result of overuse, overloading, shortening or lengthening. Remedial massage is different than relaxation or deep tissue as it is more focused on identifying the underlying cause of the musculoskeletal dysfunction and then working to improve it.
